We are also able to offer a comprehensive equipment hire service through our sister company ACME audio visual services. Here is a summary of the equipment we have available to support your event.

PA Systems

This is the most popular of our audio equipment hire, ensuring that your audience hears speakers, presentations and music clearly, whatever the size of venue. We can advise you on amplifier and microphone type depending on your need. We also have available to hire an induction loop hearing system for the hearing impaired.

Visual Systems

To support your presentations we hire out high powered data projectors and TV screens, with a selection of inputs for all media.

Lighting Systems

Effective lighting can enhance any event, conference, meeting, music event or party and we have a range of lighting systems from single spotlights, floodlights, uplighters, effects lighting to more complex venue lighting.

Starcloths

Add glitz and glamour to your event with our starcloths. Available in black or white material these drapes are studded all over with small LED lights, which can be set to remain on constant or to twinkle.

Staging

Our staging can add extra presence to your event with a range of stage blocks, that can be built up to the size you require.

The following comments were sent to the hotel manager at the Park Inn following a dinner dance we were involved with. Rebeca “I was glad I was able to catch you on Sunday morning but would like to put our thanks in writing.
Although I spoke to the DJ at the end of the evening I don’t have an e-mail, but would appreciate it if you could pass on our thanks to him. Too often at these events the music is too loud and most people move out to the bar to have a conversation. This did not happen on Saturday and he judged the audience such that there were always people dancing. Although we were worried about holding the event in York, given the distances for most members, it has been a very successful weekend and I am sure we will be back in few years and the park Inn will be favourably considered as the venue.” Regards Peter
