The following comments were sent to the hotel manager at the Park Inn following a dinner dance we were involved with. Rebeca “I was glad I was able to catch you on Sunday morning but would like to put our thanks in writing.
Although I spoke to the DJ at the end of the evening I don’t have an e-mail, but would appreciate it if you could pass on our thanks to him. Too often at these events the music is too loud and most people move out to the bar to have a conversation. This did not happen on Saturday and he judged the audience such that there were always people dancing. Although we were worried about holding the event in York, given the distances for most members, it has been a very successful weekend and I am sure we will be back in few years and the park Inn will be favourably considered as the venue.” Regards Peter
